We will be doing MAP testing soon and I'm wondering what students think about M Cards and the student lounge. Leave your feedback!!

The WKCE Test starts next week for all students in Reading. As your principal, I would like to know what you would like me to do when we make AYP? I've heard students talk about me wearing a dress, shaving my head, etc...What are your ideas? The two ideas that have the most feedback will be put to a vote. GOAL for it!!

Dear Lancer Parents and Students,

Our staff is currently "debating" whether or not to include MAP grade level proficiency or growth to the M Card criteria. What are your thoughts about this?

What motivates you to do well on your MAP tests? How important do you think these kinds of tests are to your future? And what do you think is the best way to prepare for them?

During College Competition Week we learned about different colleges and universities, did door decorations, entrance essay writing and other fun activities. What was your favorite part of the week and why?

Dear Lancers,

At this time of year, with the holidays approaching, we all have a lot to be thankful for. Sometimes, because of things going on around us, we forget what it is in our lives that we consider things worthing of thanks. I know I am thankful for the students, parents and staff of McNeel Middle School as well as my family and health. I am also thankful to have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people, especially being able to do so in my home town.

This week is National and Global Youth Service Day as well as Earth Day. Here at the Home of the Lancers we'll be having our Youth Service Day on Friday April 23rd. Please comment on what service to our community means to you and why it is important.
