    What does Service Learning Mean to You?

    This week is National and Global Youth Service Day as well as Earth Day. Here at the Home of the Lancers we'll be having our Youth Service Day on Friday April 23rd. Please comment on what service to our community means to you and why it is important.

    It is important because you are helping the people in our community. It means to me that don't be " don't be greedy give to the needy" and it makes you feel so good inside to know that you contributed to your community.

    I think that it was a good idea to do the service because we where helping others and learning the meaning to giving back!

    to me service day means giving back to the commmunity.to me it means helping other people.
    it also means showing the community that the young people today have kindness and manners.
    service day means helping the community so that we can live happy and in peace knowing that
    we helped other people and they appreciate us.thats what service day means to me.
